Spire!events gifts target persons with a pleasant and inventive promotional Easter surprise

The Mannheim-based PR and event management agency spire!events undertook a guerilla advertising program to promote its services via an innovative promotional customer acquisition concept: a sales rep dressed as an Easter bunny paid an unannounced visit to 30 key potential clients, whose (greatly surprised) receptionists were given a colorful Easter basket and were asked to deliver the basket to the relevant target person.

What’s more, on delivery of the Easter basket a photograph of the Easter bunny standing in front of the company’s offices was e-mailed to the target person to let them know that the Easter bunny had left a gift for them at the reception desk.

Thus the target person was (pleasantly) surprised twice over: first by the picture showing that the Easter bunny had in fact paid a visit to the company; and second, by the gift of a colorful Easter basket. This message was underscored by the program’s slogan, “You’ve got the eggs, we’ve got the ideas.”
